Back from Vacation....Kind of...

Well, we're back from KY and boy is time flying. Just realized that I have less than 6 weeks before the move and basically nothing figured out. I finally started getting information today from the company about the move and should hear from the relocation company tomorrow, that will help a lot. I start in TX on the 15th of September and will be getting into town just a day or two beforehand.

KY was good and it was fun to see all our friends again, and have a week without electronics! I got an extension on my paper, so I didn't have to work on it for the week, but am trying to finish it up now. It's due on Thursday (only a page and a half left to go...tomorrow night).

We're hosting a BBQ this weekend, so we'll see how that goes and how Elke reacts to such a large crowd. Speaking of the pup, she was a wild child tonight. Kept working herself into a deep pant playing with her toys and as soon as I'd get her calmed down, she'd go play with them again. Finally got her to laydown for good by moving a bed into the computer room where I'm working right now. (She's curled up into her cat-like self to sleep...)
